So I'm long term VR mostly the with PC VR. Recently I got annoyed by Meta and the change on the way of accessing dev mode on their VR headsets. They just revoked access to everyone without leting know user first.
But at first I was thinking that this whole thing was a bug so I tried to reenable dev mode on my device to be greated with screen:

Ye. Aparaently now you need to have full register company to be able to do it and provide to Meta docs confirming that you are legit company. I suspect it's their way to combat the Quest Piracy but who rly knows as I'm mostly PCVR user it pointless for me but for other people it can be big hit.

For me the bigest issue is that Meta still did not added option to disable Guardian system to normal settings. When I play PC VR it breaks imersion as now the headset switches to passthrough if you go out of guardian zone and it's not possible to enable it anymore.

This is one reason why I decided to migrate to full PC VR headset instead of another standalone device as it's gives much more control. One the new Bigscreen Beyond 2 arrives in my hand will make sure to writte review of it. And mayby run some test agaist the Linux and see what's the current state of VR on Linux.

This sounds like the kind of thing that should be both reported here:
https://www.gnu.org/proprietary/

And also to:
https://consumerrights.wiki/Main_Page

( Perhaps also to EFF )

So appropriate people will start doing the suing to take care of this situation.
